The Water Resources Management and Policy course from the Université de Genève provided me with a deep understanding of the critical issues surrounding water resources and the policies that govern their management. I learned about sustainable practices, the importance of stakeholder engagement, and the complex interplay between environmental, social, and economic factors in water management. This knowledge is particularly relevant to Nepal, where water scarcity and pollution are pressing challenges that impact both rural and urban communities. By applying the concepts from this course, I feel equipped to contribute to developing effective water management strategies that promote sustainability and equity. This experience has inspired me to advocate for policies that prioritize community involvement and the responsible use of water resources, ultimately aiming to improve access and quality of water for all in my country.
