The Managing Cybersecurity Incidents and Disasters course from Kennesaw State University taught me critical skills for identifying, managing, and mitigating cybersecurity threats and incidents. I learned about the importance of having a solid incident response plan and the various strategies organizations can use to protect their digital assets. This knowledge is particularly relevant in today’s increasingly digital world, including in Nepal, where many businesses and organizations are transitioning online. As cybersecurity becomes a growing concern for both public and private sectors, understanding how to effectively manage potential incidents is essential for safeguarding sensitive information. This course has empowered me to think proactively about cybersecurity measures in my work, ensuring that I can contribute to building a more secure environment for organizations engaged in community development and environmental conservation in Nepal.
