हामीलाई दलित भनेर सबैले अपहेलना गर्छन्, हामी जन्मिदा खुशी हुने र मर्दा आसुको धारो बगाउने कोही पनि छैनन। हाम्रो घरको दैलोमा चाडपर्बमा रमाउन आउने कोही पनि हुँदैनन, तर थाहा छ , यो गुराशको रुख २० बर्षदेखी मेरो घरको दैलो अगाडि मुस्कुराइ रहेको छ, यो त झन नेपालकै राष्ट्रिय फुल, देशकै गौरव बोकेको फुल, खै यस्ले  त हामीलाई अछुत भनेर कैले भेदभाव गरेन, यो अंकन्टार ठाउँमा झन चैत्र देखी जेष्ठ सम्म लतरम्म फुलेर मन नै आनन्दित बनाइदिन्छ, मान्छेको साथले नसजिएनी आज यही लालिगुरासको रुखले  मेरो घरआगन सज्जिएको छ, भेदभावको कालो बादलको पर्दा यो गुरासको रुखले हटाएको छ, म चाहन्छु यो रुख मेरो आउने पिडिहरुले नि नजिकबाट नियाल्न पाउन.

The two-day training on “Gender Inclusive Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation,” organized by RECOFTC, offered a unique opportunity to deepen my understanding of effectively integrating gender perspectives into development projects. The sessions provided fresh insights into planning processes that account for the diverse intersections of gender, social inclusion, and community priorities at the VDC and municipal levels. Learning practical methods for project design and evaluation has equipped me to ensure that development efforts address the distinct needs of various groups. This training has enhanced my ability to implement gender-responsive frameworks and advocate for strategies that promote equitable and impactful outcomes for all community members.

Attending the three-day Conceptual Clarity Training on Human Trafficking organized by AATWIN at Dhulikhel in August 2022 was an invaluable experience that broadened my understanding and deepened my commitment to tackling human trafficking and supporting vulnerable communities. Representing Teka Samuha Nepal, I engaged with over 35 participants from various NGOs, which fostered a collaborative environment for discussing the intersections of human trafficking with psychosocial issues, as well as examining the legal frameworks and policies surrounding it. The training highlighted the critical importance of the Palermo Protocol and its application within Nepal, equipping me with insights into the legal challenges and necessary protections for trafficking victims at both national and international levels.

Our discussions were enriched by the expertise of Advocate Indu Tuladhar and Bishnu Maya Bhusal, who provided clarity on policies, acts, and laws, helping me to better navigate the complexities of advocacy within the realm of human rights and GESI (Gender Equality and Social Inclusion). The training enhanced my understanding of the need for trauma-informed approaches and emphasized the role of GESI in preventing trafficking and safeguarding rights. This experience reinforced my dedication to advancing sustainable, inclusive frameworks, aligning closely with global commitments such as the SDGs, UPR, and CEDAW, and it provided me with practical tools to further integrate these values into my work.
