The Resilient Teaching Through Times of Crisis and Change course from the University of Michigan equipped me with valuable strategies for navigating challenges in educational settings. I learned how to adapt teaching methods to foster resilience among students, create supportive learning environments, and effectively communicate during times of uncertainty. This course was particularly relevant to my experiences in Nepal, where educational disruptions have become more common due to various crises, including the recent pandemic. By applying the principles of resilient teaching, I feel better prepared to support youth in my community, ensuring they can continue to learn and thrive despite challenges. This knowledge has inspired me to advocate for adaptive educational practices that prioritize student well-being and engagement, ultimately contributing to a more resilient future for education in Nepal.
